Goodstart Early Learning in Nambour – Doolan Street is offering a Fee-Free Traineeship that supports you to gain hands-on experience with children while you study towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. You will be guided by experienced educators and Centre leadership to build the foundations for a rewarding career in early childhood education.

• Willingness to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Permanent working rights in Australia
• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a QLD Working with Children Check
• Hold a Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
• Provide proof of immunisation against MMR and Pertussis, or be willing to receive them

About the role

As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart Nambour – Doolan Street, you'll be supported by experienced Educators, Teachers, and Centre Leadership to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in Early Childhood Education.

You'll play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing while working towards your Certificate III qualification.

In this role, you'll:

Who can apply?

To be eligible for a traineeship, you must:

• Be willing to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Have permanent working rights in Australia
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Be enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about working with children
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have flexible availability
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a QLD Working with Children Check
• Hold a Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
• Provide proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) and Whooping Cough (Pertussis), or be willing to receive them

Please note: To be eligible for a traineeship, you must not have completed a Certificate or Diploma qualification (outside of secondary school) within the last seven years. Applicants who have completed a school-based qualification outside of childcare may still be eligible.
