Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is offering a Full Time 18-month Trainee Contract in NSW, Australia. As a Trainee Educator you’ll support children’s early learning, work with centre teams, and progress toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

You will help maintain a safe environment, contribute to the room’s education program, and engage in continuous improvement while building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study toward Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• Permanent right to work in Australia.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform.
• Immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) or be willing to receive.

As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart, you will be dedicated to giving children the best possible start to their school journey. With the support of your Centre Leadership Team, Teachers, and Educators, you will be empowered to forge your career whilst working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care

To be eligible for a Traineeship you are not able to hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificateother than in childcare will still be eligible.

• The willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• A permanent right to work in Australia
