Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Highfields is offering a Trainee Educator position to kickstart your career in early childhood education. You will be supported by the Centre Leadership Team, Teachers and Educators while you work toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

You will gain practical experience in a busy centre, maintain a safe environment, contribute to the education program in the room and centre team, and enjoy benefits such as paid study time, training funding,

Qualifications

• Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• Permanent right to work in Australia
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Interest in early years education
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geckco platform
• Immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (or willingness to receive)

To be eligible for a Traineeship youare not able toholda previousCertificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificateother than in childcare will still be eligible.
