Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in Melbourne's Watsonia centre invites applications for a Trainee Educator. You will work towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care while contributing to high-quality learning experiences.

Under the Centre Leadership Team you will develop professional skills, maintain a safe environment, and engage with children and families. This 18-month fixed-term, full-time traineeship offers funded study, paid development, and potential permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• Permanent right to work in Australia.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good time management and organisation.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Interest in early years education.
• Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko platform.
• Immunisation against Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) or willing to receive.
