Goodstart Early Learning – New Auckland QLD is offering a Trainee Educator position at the Gladstone centre on a full-time, 18-month fixed-term basis. The role supports you to study toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, with fee-free training funded by Goodstart.

You will work with a Leadership Team, Teachers, and Educators to foster children’s learning, while gaining practical centre-based experience and a pathway to permanent employment after completion of study.

• Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• Permanent right to work in Australia
• Strong communication skills

To be eligible for a Traineeship you are not able to hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare will still be eligible.

**an Australian citizen or a person granted permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen who entered Australia on a valid passport (the Australian Government requires that they have been a resident in Australia for more than 6 months). Visa Holders must be able to work AND study in Australia and the duration of the traineeship must match the length of the Visa.
