Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Strathfieldsaye invites applications for a Trainee Educator role. This 18-month fixed-term contract is full-time (38 hours/week) with pay between $22.75ph and $31.36ph and a chance to progress toward permanent employment.

You will be supported to study toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care while gaining hands-on centre experience and earning while you learn.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Immunisation against Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Pertussis (or willingness to receive).
• Permanent right to work in Australia.

To be eligible for a Traineeship youare not able toholda previousCertificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare will still be eligible.

In addition, you must have:

• The willingness and motivation to study towards aCertificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• A permanent right to work in Australia
• Good timemanagement and organisational skills
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Interest in early years education
• Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
• Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and RubellaandWhooping Cough (Pertussis)(or be willing to receive)
