Goodstart Strathfieldsaye is offering a Trainee Educator position in Strathfieldsaye, VIC. The role supports the Centre Leadership Team, Teachers and Educators as you work toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, with full-time hours and a fixed-term arrangement.

You will gain practical experience while earning a competitive hourly rate and access to funded training, with potential for permanent employment upon completion.

Role: Trainee Educator

Location: Strathfieldsaye, Greater Bendigo Region, VIC 3551

Centre: Goodstart Strathfieldsaye

Employment Type: Full Time / 38 hours per week / 18 month Fixed Term Contract

Pay: $22.75ph - $31.36ph

• Receive Fee Free Training – Goodstart will cover all related RTO enrolment and training fees

As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart, you will be dedicated to giving children the best possible start to their school journey. With the support of your Centre Leadership Team, Teachers, and Educators, you will be empowered to forge your career whilst working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members

To be eligible for a Traineeship you are not able to hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificateother than in childcare will still be eligible.

In addition, you must have:

• The willingness and motivation to study towards aCertificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• A permanent right to work in Australia
• Strong communication skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

• Interest in early years education
• Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
• Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and RubellaandWhooping Cough (Pertussis)(or be willing to receive)
