Goodstart Early Learning in Australia is offering a Trainee Educator position at the Vermont Canterbury Road North centre. It is a part-time fixed-term role (18 months) with a pay range of $22.75–$31.36 per hour, and 24 hours per week. The program funds your Certificate III and supports you to grow within the organisation.

You will develop through supervision, contribute to early childhood education, and work toward secure, ongoing employment upon completion of study.

Qualifications

• Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• Permanent right to work in Australia.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Flexible availability.
• Interest in early years education.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training (via Geccko).
• Immunisation proof for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Whooping Cough (or willingness to receive).
