Isaac Regional Council in Moranbah, Queensland, is offering a full-time fixed-term traineeship to gain hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III in Business.

As a Trainee Administration Officer you’ll develop policies, provide customer service to Isaac residents, assist teams with administration tasks, coordinate meetings, and undertake other duties as required. You’ll learn in a supportive team and earn while you learn.

Qualifications

• No prior administration experience is required – just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• You’ll thrive in this role if you have strong communication skills and enjoy helping people.
• Are organised, proactive, and able to work in a team.
• Are confident using basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
• Have completed Year 10 or higher.
• Hold a current driver’s licence (desirable but not essential).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, guidelines, templates, and forms.
• Provide exceptional customer service to Isaac residents including answering phones and providing face‑to‑face support as required.
• Assist Team Leaders, Overseers, and Coordinators with administration, procurement, and financial support.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and seminars.
• Undertake other administration duties as required.
