Job summary

Isaac Regional Council is seeking a Trainee to join the Community Facilities team at the Isaac Events Centre in Moranbah. You will gain hands-on experience in administration while studying for a Certificate III in Business, supporting visitors, data entry, and event organisation.

You will work full-time on a fixed-term 12-month contract, with a 72.5-hour fortnight and a 9-day fortnight roster. Training, mentoring and on-the-job learning will be provided.

Qualifications

• Completed Year 10 or higher.
• Willing to learn and undertake Certificate III in Business.
• Able to welcome visitors and handle enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and assist with enquiries.
• Learn office and administration skills including data entry, filing and correspondence handling.
• Support the organisation of events, meetings and workshops.
• Work with a supportive team and training provider to complete your qualification.
