Job summary

Isaac Regional Council is offering a Trainee Administration Officer – CEC position based in Moranbah, commencing 19 January 2026. The 12-month fixed-term traineeship provides full-time hours (72.5 per fortnight) and pays a rate of $36.33 per hour.

You’ll gain frontline customer service experience and learn key admin skills while working toward a Certificate in III Business with mentoring support.

Qualifications

• Complete Year 10 or higher.
• Strong communication skills and enjoy helping people.
• Willingness to learn and attitude for a traineeship.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line customer service face-to-face and over the phone.
• Learn administration skills such as data entry, filing, records management and correspondence handling.
• Work towards a Certificate in III Business with full training and mentoring support.
