Job summary

Metcash Trading Limited is seeking an experienced Trade Support Team Member for our Hudson Mitre 10 store in Queanbeyan. This permanent part-time role rosters between 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, supporting the Trade Sales Team with admin tasks and delivering excellent service to trade customers.

You will liaise with Trade Account Managers, process orders, arrange site deliveries, and handle inquiries.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with customers & suppliers via phone and email.
• Multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced trade business.
• Experience in administration or customer support.
• Flexible to work across a five-day trading week roster.
• Trade or building industry experience is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work well in a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Trade Account Managers to support trade account customers.
• General admin duties to support our Trade Sales team.
• Process customer orders and prepares quotes accurately and efficiently.
• Arrange and book site deliveries, coordinating with customers and internal teams.
• Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and helpful manner.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
