Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and inquiries professionally.
• Assist both trade and retail customers with a 100% customer focus.
• Process sales through the POS accurately and promptly.
• Work closely with Steel/Hardware divisions.
• Process orders for the Trade Division efficiently.
• Coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries.
• Liaise with Trade accounts, customers and suppliers on order status.
• Pick hardware products from store.

About the Role

As a Trade Desk Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our busy trade centre and retail yard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Answering incoming calls and enquiries professionally
• 100% customer focus – assisting both trade and retail customers
• Processing sales through the POS in a professional, timely and accurate manner
• Work closely with our Steel/ Hardware divisions
• Process orders accurately and promptly for our Trade Division
• Coordinate with logistics for timely and accurate customer deliveries
• Customer Service and Sales – e.g. timber/ blockwork/ cement and steel.
• Picking hardware products from in store
• Liaison with Trade accounts, customers and suppliers on status of their orders.

MUST HAVES:

• Reliable and committed with solid work ethic
• Must be proficient with outlook, excel and word.
• Trade industry exp preferred
• Sound knowledge of trade and hardware products preferred
