Job summary

Metcash Trading Limited is seeking a Trades Support Team Member for Kingston Clennett’s Mitre 10. This casual role rostering between 7am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday, supports the Trade Sales Team with administrative tasks and delivering excellent service to trade customers.

You will process orders, liaise with Trade Account Managers and arrange site deliveries, while maintaining data and building strong relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or customer service required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and suppliers by phone and email.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced trade environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Trade Account Managers to support trade account customers.
• Provide general admin support to the Trade Sales team.
• Process customer orders and prepare quotes accurately and efficiently.
• Arrange and book site deliveries, coordinating with customers and internal teams.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation; work with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

An opportunity has become available at our Kingston Clennett’s Mitre 10 store for an experienced Trade Support Team Member.

This is a casual position rostering between 7am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

You will support our Trade Sales Team with administrative tasks and help deliver excellent service to our trade customers. You’ll use your experience in trade, retail or administration to manage enquiries, process orders and build strong working relationships in a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service will help you succeed in this dynamic role.

What you will be doing:

• Liaise with Trade Account Managers to support trade account customers.

What you will bring:

• Ability to clearly communicate to customers & Suppliers via phone and email.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic fast paced trade business.
• Previous experience in administration or customer support.
• Flexibility to work across a 5-day trading week roster
• Trade or building industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work closely in a diverse team.
