Job summary

Metcash Limited in Queanbeyan is seeking an experienced Trade Support Team Member for a permanent part-time role (20–25 hours per week, Monday to Friday). You will back our Trade Sales Team with admin tasks, process orders, prepare quotes, and coordinate site deliveries, delivering excellent service to trade customers.

You'll draw on experience in trade, retail or administration, communicate clearly with customers and suppliers, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or customer support.
• Clear communication with customers and suppliers via phone and email.
• Multitasking in a fast-paced trade environment.
• Flexibility to work across a 5-day trading week.
• Trade or building industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Trade Account Managers to support trade account customers.
• General admin duties to support our Trade Sales team.
• Processing customer orders and preparing quotes accurately and efficiently.
• Arrange and book site deliveries, coordinating with customers and internal teams
• Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and helpful manner.
• Maintaining accurate data and documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

An opportunity has become available at our Hudson Mitre 10 store in Queanbeyan for an experienced Trade Support Team Member.

This is a Permanent Part-Time position rostering between 20 - 25 hours a week from Monday to Friday.

You will support our Trade Sales Team with administrative tasks and help deliver excellent service to our trade customers. You'll use your experience in trade, retail or administration to manage enquiries, process orders and build strong working relationships in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service will help you succeed in this dynamic role.
