Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Process Safety Engineer for the Lincoln, NE Oilseeds facilities. You will own the Total Process Safety program, drive compliance, and lead a diverse team from operations to leadership in transforming safety performance.

You will collaborate with the TPS Technology Team, conduct PHAs, lead incident investigations, and deliver TPS training across plant leadership. A strong background in PSM and cross‑functional project management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical/mechanical/agri) required.
• 2+ years process safety experience in chemical or agricultural processing.
• Strong knowledge of the 14 elements of PSM and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility’s process safety program to implement and improve TPS.
• Coordinate process safety activities and lead the TPS Committee.
• Develop safety culture with risk reduction and incident prevention.
• Conduct PHAs and action plan follow-up with leadership and TPS team.
• Lead local TPS incident investigations and share safety alerts.
• Act as Process Safety Reviewer for MOC requests and support capital projects.
• Provide TPS training to plant leadership and engineers.
