Campaspe Port Enterprise Pty Ltd in Echuca, VIC, seeks a dynamic Manager – Tourism Operations to lead tourism delivery across paddle steamer cruises, tours, Visitor Centre, retail and events. The role focuses on continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will inspire a team, manage budgets, report to the CEO/Board, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance the visitor experience at one of regional Victoria’s iconic precincts.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in business/management or equivalent demonstrated management experience.
• Experience leading teams in customer-focused organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tourism/hospitality/retail operations with budget, revenue and cost control accountability.
• Strategic thinking and ability to influence implementation of the strategic plan.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all tourism activities across the precinct (paddle steamer cruises, guided tours, Visitor Centre, retail, ticketing and events).
• Coach and mentor direct reports to build capability and a positive team culture.
• Manage budgets and resources to achieve efficiencies and profitability while maintaining great customer experiences.
• Provide strategic reporting and support to the CEO and Board; deliver actions in the organisational plan.
• Ensure a strong customer service culture and compliance with WHS and relevant legislation.
