Job summary

Parks Victoria is seeking a Seasonal Ranger based in Echuca to deliver on-ground park management across the River Murray Reserve and surrounding parks. You’ll contribute to visitor services, conservation works and infrastructure maintenance in a dynamic outdoor environment.

The Echuca Ranger Team focuses on safety, teamwork and delivering outstanding visitor experiences while protecting environmental and cultural values. This role offers hands-on land management experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or skills in conservation and land management.
• Experience delivering on-ground services as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with visitors and stakeholders.
• Current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Commitment to safe work practices and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-ground park management services across multiple reserves.
• Support visitor facility maintenance and conservation works.
• Assist with asset and infrastructure management and visitor services.
• Engage with communities and stakeholders to enhance visitor experiences.
