Job summary
Wanderer Adventures – Wilsons Promontory Cruises is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our amphibious marine tours and premium guided walks at Tidal River, Wilsons Promontory. Qualifications
- Proven leadership in frontline operational roles within marine/tourism settings.
- Strong safety culture and SMS/OH&S understanding.
- Experience leading, scheduling and developing a frontline operational crew.
- Knowledge of premium eco-tourism or regional passenger transport.
- Local knowledge of Wilsons Promontory and surrounding marine environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day marine cruises and guided walking tours, supervise vessel maintenance, and audit walking tracks for safety and quality.
- Drive strict compliance with SMS, AMSA orders, Parks Victoria rules, and wildlife regulations.
- Lead, coach, and roster a frontline crew; conduct safety briefings daily.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to manage passenger logistics and weather disruptions.
- Monitor budgets and cruise costs to drive efficiencies and revenue growth.
