Job summary

NightOwl Convenience is seeking an Area Manager to oversee 12-15 stores across Brisbane and nearby areas. You’ll coach franchisees, drive Standards, Stock and Sales, and partner with the Operations team to deliver strong commercial outcomes.

Applicants should have 3+ years in retail management, multi-site experience, hands-on leadership, and a data-driven approach to improving performance. A current driver's licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in retail management.
• Experience in convenience/petroleum or fast-paced retail is highly regarded.
• Multi-site management experience is highly regarded.
• Hands-on approach with ability to support stores operationally.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and support franchisees and store teams to drive performance across Standards, Stock and Sales.
• Identify and leverage category and departmental growth opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
• Implement strategies to achieve KPIs and operational objectives.
• Lead by example and drive compliance and consistency across the store network.
• Plan and conduct regular store visits within the assigned territory.
• Support strong customer experiences by maintaining high merchandising and presentation standards.
• Build positive and productive relationships with franchisees, store teams and key stakeholders.
