Job summary

NightOwl Convenience Stores is an Australian owned retail network with over 50 years in the industry and more than 80 stores. As an Area Manager you will oversee a portfolio of about 12–15 franchisee and company‑operated stores across Brisbane and the surrounding area, with some travel between locations.

You will drive performance across our 3 S’s (Standards, Stock and Sales), coach store teams, and partner with the Operations team to deliver strong commercial outcomes, maintain consistency, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail management.
• Experience in convenience/petroleum/grocery or similar fast-paced retail.
• Multi-site management experience is a plus.
• Hands-on approach and ability to coach teams.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to travel across territory.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and support franchisees and store teams to drive performance across Standards, Stock and Sales.
• Identify and leverage category and departmental growth opportunities.
• Implement strategies to achieve KPIs and operational objectives.
• Lead by example and ensure compliance and consistency.
• Plan and conduct regular store visits within the territory.
• Support customer experiences with high merchandising standards.
• Build positive relationships with franchisees, store teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to network growth and business improvements.
