Job summary

Retail Data Acquisition Services in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an Area Manager to ensure stores meet standards across quality, customer service, merchandising, food, fuel and overall operations. You will audit in the field, coach store teams and implement practical improvements that boost performance.

Travel across the state is required, including overnight stays, and you will build strong relationships with Licensees, Store Managers and stakeholders while driving compliance and continuous

Qualifications

• Must have experience in retail, fast food, food service, petrol & convenience or auditing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify operational gaps.
• Experience with standards, compliance, processes or performance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence to coach, influence and work with people at all levels.
• Ability to analyse information and produce clear reports.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Good commercial awareness and focus on results.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Champion retail standards across stores including merchandising, marketing, POS and customer service.
• Conduct quality, standards, audit and product compliance checks.
• Monitor food safety, safe working practices and WHS compliance.
• Identify operational gaps and develop improvement plans with Licensees and Store Managers.
• Coach and train store teams to uphold brand and operational standards.
• Complete the full audit cycle and assess financial reliability and compliance.
• Analyse audit findings and store data; prepare reports and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, marketing and store performance; support implementation.
• Build relationships with Licensees, Store Managers and stakeholders.
• Support new store openings and field program rollouts.
