Job summary

Haymes Paint is seeking an ambitious sales professional to join its Victorian Sales team. You will grow Haymes Paint’s presence across South East Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula by managing relationships with existing customers and winning new business.

You’ll travel to engage customers, present solutions, and deliver successful project outcomes while contributing to sustainable growth in your region.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in sales, account management, territory management, or business development.

Job description

We're looking for an ambitious and proactive sales professional to join our Victorian Sales team. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for growing Haymes Paint's presence across South East Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

In this role, you'll work closely with an established customer base while actively identifying opportunities to bring new customers to the Haymes Paint family. Through a combination of relationship building, customer service excellence and strategic territory planning, you'll help customers achieve successful project outcomes while driving sustainable growth across your region.

What You'll Be Doing

About You

• Proven experience in sales, account management, territory management, or business development.
• Strong ability to build relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Skilled in communication, negotiation, and influencing outcomes.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and prioritise activities effectively.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage customers and opportunities.
• Commercially minded with a strong customer focus.
• Experience in paint, coatings, construction, building products, or trade industries is highly regarded.
• Hold a current unrestricted driver's licence.
