Bayset Pty Ltd | Bayset is a leading supplier to the construction and infrastructure industry, delivering practical solutions and trusted service. We’re expanding our team on the Gold Coast, offering an on-site sales role with opportunities to grow your territory and gross margin.

You’ll provide technical advice, build customer relationships, prepare quotes and tenders, and deepen your product knowledge while supporting the Arundel Branch to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Trade knowledge across construction, waterproofing, tiling or flooring.
• Previous sales experience, ideally within the construction industry.
• A strong track record in sales and business development.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability.
• Confidence dealing with customers and decision-makers.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Positive, energetic, reliable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Professional with a background in construction, waterproofing, tiling or flooring to join the Bayset team.

This is a hands-on sales role where you’ll build strong customer relationships, grow your territory and provide practical, solution-focused support.

What you’ll be doing

Grow sales and GP margin across your territory

Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Prospect for new business opportunities

Provide technical advice and troubleshoot with customers on site

Prepare quotes and tenders

Develop your product and industry knowledge

Support the Arundel Branch team in delivering a great customer experience

About you

Trade knowledge across construction, waterproofing, tiling or flooring

Previous sales experience, ideally within the construction industry

A strong track record in sales and business development

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability

Confidence dealing with customers and decision-makers

Basic capability with Microsoft Word, Outlook and CRM systems

A current Australian Driver’s Licence

Just as importantly, you’ll be positive, energetic, reliable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
