Job summary

Mulford Australia – Archerfield, Qld, is seeking a Customer Development Manager to drive sales growth across Brisbane and Regional Queensland. You will manage existing accounts, identify new opportunities and build lasting relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

The role is field-based and reports to the Sales Manager, combining account management, market development and product growth with regular site visits and a strong sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, account management and business development.
• Track record of achieving sales and margin targets.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and profitability across existing customer accounts.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
• Prospect for new customers, projects, applications and markets.
• Introduce new products and increase product penetration across existing accounts.
• Conduct regular customer, prospect and relevant site visits.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Achieve agreed sales revenue and gross margin targets.
• Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunities and pipeline information in Salesforce CRM.
• Work collaboratively with Internal Sales, Customer Service and Operations teams.
• Provide market intelligence and identify emerging customer and industry opportunities.
