Job summary

Aptella is seeking a Territory Account Manager for Civil on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, to drive hands-on sales across machine control, weighing, GPS, laser and site technology.

You will develop new business and manage existing accounts, understand customer challenges, demonstrate technical solutions, negotiate and close deals, and maintain an active sales pipeline with regular customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in territory sales, account management, business development or technical sales.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence presenting and demonstrating technical solutions.
• Strong negotiation and closing capability.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-first approach.
• Good organisation and territory management skills.
• Confidence using CRM and managing a sales pipeline.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own activity.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with civil construction, machine control, weighing, GPS, laser systems or construction technology is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and develop new business opportunities across your territory.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and recommend the right technical solution.
• Present and demonstrate machine control, weighing, GPS and laser technology.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Develop leads through customer visits, networking and industry activity.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.
• Manage territory and account plans to support long‑term growth.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and emerging opportunities.
• Work closely with Sales Operations and internal teams to deliver a strong customer experience.
