Job summary

Peters Ice Cream, Australia’s leading ice cream maker, seeks a Territory Manager for the Victorian Western Suburbs area. You will manage a diverse customer base from cafes to retail outlets, drive new business, and grow existing accounts with the support of an established team.

A fully maintained company vehicle, phone and tablet are provided. Ideal candidates will be located within a 50km radius of Geelong, bring field sales or FMCG experience, and demonstrate strong relationship-building and

Qualifications

• Must be located within the territory (within 50km of Geelong).
• Experience in FMCG, retail or field sales is preferred but not essential.
• Outgoing, approachable, sales-focused and career-driven within iconic Australian brand.
• Strong communication style and ability to partner with business and customers.
• Proven ability to identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and commercial acumen.
• Valid and safe driving history; able to travel occasionally.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our Out of Home Sales Team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of existing customers and actively pursue new business opportunitieswithin theVictorian Western Suburbs (inclusive of the Bellarine Peninsula, Ballarat and Melbourne’s Western suburbs). The ideal candidate will ideally be located within a 50km radius of Geelong.from a varied group of customers – cafes, independent retailers, entertainment venues, aquatic centres, beach kiosks, convenience stores and more.

Package includes a fully maintained company vehicle, phone and tablet with a total package potential value around $100,000.

Responsibilities

• Win new business and develop existing customers;
• Manage key accounts within your territory;
• Deliver on sales KPI’s;
• Negotiate directly with key business decision makers – (a strong degree of commercial acumen is essential to your success); and
• Drive compliance and distribution within your customer base
• Manage PFD Lara branch relationship; and
• Overnight travel required quarterly.

Reporting into the Field Sales Manager (FSM), this is a position with a strong existing customer base of direct customers. You will be given the room to build your own effective relationships as well as the support from the existing team to assist you to develop and grow your territory.

About you

• You mustbe located within the territory;
• Ideally, you can demonstrate sales experience within FMCG, retail or field sales (preferred but not essential);
• Outgoing, approachable, sales focused and has a desire to further your career within one of Australia’s most iconic brands;
• A confident communicator and have the ability to adapt your communication style given you will be a true partner to the business and customers;
• Demonstrated success in seeking and converting new business opportunities;
• Excellent relationship building skills;
• Strong commercial and analytical skills;
• Safe driver history;
• Have a positive can-do attitude and be able to adapt to change; and
• Self-motivated, highly organised & able to work autonomously.
