Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a Territory Manager for Darwin to drive new business and manage a diverse customer portfolio across the Northern Territory. You will identify opportunities, secure new contracts and foster long-term relationships with clients across various industries.

You will lead the sales cycle, maintain a robust pipeline and collaborate with customers to tailor waste management solutions, all while achieving revenue targets and reporting on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, business development or territory/account management with proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Track record of securing new business, negotiating commercial agreements and growing accounts.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
• Sound commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities and deliver solutions.
• Proactive, self-motivated with resilience and drive in a target-focused environment.
• Excellent organization and time management across a geographically diverse territory.
• Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand market share across the territory.
• Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio, building long-term relationships for retention and satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, converting prospects into profitable contracts.
• Negotiate new contracts, renewals and service agreements per commercial objectives and pricing guidelines.
• Work closely with customers to understand business needs and deliver tailored waste management solutions.
• Achieve sales budgets, revenue targets and KPIs through effective territory and account management.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, opportunities and contracts in Salesforce.
• Monitor sales performance, provide regular reporting and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
