Job summary

NHP Electrical Engineering Products in Tasmania is seeking a driven, customer-focused Business Development Representative to grow our portfolio of existing and new customers while representing leading electrical, automation and industrial brands.

In this autonomous field-based role you will develop long-term customer relationships, create account strategies, prepare quotations and proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver complete solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or territory sales.
• Background in electrical/engineering fields is advantageous.
• Proven ability to grow and manage customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with key customers, contractors, wholesalers and end users
• Drive sales growth and profitability across your assigned territory
• Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer partnerships
• Develop and execute account strategies to maximise customer growth
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals and tailored solutions
• Maintain an active pipeline and accurate customer records through CRM
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
• Coordinate customer presentations, product demonstrations and training programs
• Collaborate with NHP specialists and internal teams to deliver complete electrical and automation solutions
