Job summary

Hager Australia & New Zealand is seeking a driven Technical Sales Representative to grow the Territory by building strong partnerships with wholesalers, contractors and end users, delivering tailored, technically informed solutions.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will manage the full sales cycle, analyze trends, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Training to ensure consistent execution and a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales role, preferably technical or trade.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused selling approach.
• Ability to analyse data and identify trends.
• Able to manage a territory independently.
• Experience with CRM systems; SAP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and grow sales within your territory.
• Engage customers with tailored solutions.
• Promote products through sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle including planning and forecasting.
• Maintain CRM records of interactions and outcomes.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Support wholesale partners with merchandising and promotions.
