Job summary

Beyond Bank is seeking a senior leader to mature its Technology Risk & Controls capability. You will partner with Technology, Risk and Audit to strengthen cyber resilience and governance in an AI-enabled landscape.

This role requires communicating risk clearly to executives and boards, and embedding risk thinking across architecture, delivery and operations. You will lead risk policy translation, control design and monitoring, while building a high-performing team and fostering accountability

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology risk and controls in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into practical controls.
• Track record building risk culture and ownership by tech teams.
• Excellent communication with executives, risk committees and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature Beyond Bank's first-line Technology Risk & Controls capability.
• Develop end-to-end view of technology risk across the lifecycle.
• Translate obligations into policies, standards and controls.
• Build a strong technology risk culture and accountable decision-making.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Internal Audit to drive risk outcomes.
• Provide insights to executives and governance forums on risk and controls.
• Lead and grow the Technology Risk & Controls team.
