Beyond Bank Australia seeks a seasoned leader to mature its Technology Risk & Controls in a first-line capacity across the Technology function. You will partner with executives to strengthen cyber resilience, risk governance and assurance in an AI-enabled landscape.

You will guide policy translation, control design and ongoing monitoring, while building a strong risk culture and ownership among technology teams. This role offers a pathway to shape risk across the organization.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in technology risk and controls within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
• Ability to think about risk across the whole technology lifecycle, not just cyber security.
• Translate regulatory obligations and risk appetite into practical controls and ways of working.
• Build a healthy risk culture with clear accountability and ownership by technology leaders.
• Communicate complex technology risk clearly to executives and boards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mature Beyond Bank's first-line Technology Risk & Controls capability, establishing governance across the Technology function.
• Develop and maintain an end-to-end view of technology risk across the lifecycle from strategy to retirement.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical policies and controls while improving control effectiveness.
• Build a strong technology risk culture with early escalation and ownership by technology teams.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit and external assurance to deliver effective risk outcomes.
• Provide trusted advice to executives and governance forums on technology risk and emerging risks.
• Lead and develop the Technology Risk & Controls team and raise capability across Technology.
