Job summary

Beyond Bank Australia is seeking a senior leader to drive technology risk, controls and governance across its technology environment. You will partner with executives to strengthen cyber resilience, manage emerging risks and enable responsible innovation in a complex, AI-enabled landscape.

Your role ensures the first-line risk function operates with accountability, integrity and proactive escalation, shaping risk culture and governance across Technology, Risk and Audit teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology risk and controls in regulated financial services.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into practical controls and governance.
• Proven track record of building a risk-aware culture across tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the first-line Technology Risk & Controls capability across the technology function.
• Shape security, resilience, and governance of the technology environment.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Audit to deliver risk outcomes.
• Provide trusted advice to executives and boards on technology risk and emerging threats.
