Komatsu Australia is seeking a Mobile Plant Mechanic – Field Service based at Mt Thorley, covering Hunter Valley sites. You will diagnose, repair and maintain Komatsu heavy equipment, providing hands-on technical support across customer sites.

Role offers autonomy to manage field service activities while advancing skills with industry-leading technology. MR licence and mine-site experience are essential for this onsite role in the Mt Thorley region.

Qualifications

• Qualified Plant Mechanic / Mobile Plant Technician
• Proven mobile plant experience – Electric Drive Haul Trucks, Wheel loaders, excavators, dozers or similar
• Previous field service or mine-site experience essential
• Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• MR driver's licence and safety conscious approach

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Komatsu heavy equipment at customer sites
• Complete testing, adjustments and machine condition reports
• Provide technical support directly to customers
• Manage field service activities and documentation
• Work safely and independently across customer sites
