Job summary

Glencore Australia’s Murrin Murrin Operations is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join the HR training team on site. The role focuses on reviewing and refining existing documentation, clarifying needs with SMEs and internal stakeholders, and developing high-quality training materials and user guides.

You will ensure health, safety and environmental compliance, maintain version control, and keep training curriculums current with licences and subject matter.

Qualifications

• Advanced diploma or higher in a technical/scientific field with hands-on design/methods experience.
• 3+ years in a design/methods office or similar role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of vocational training legislation.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Proficient with MS Office and knowledge of integrated management systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine existing documentation and identify clarification needs.
• Gather information from trainers, SMEs and internal stakeholders.
• Develop high-quality training materials, technical documents, work instructions and user guides.
• Maintain records and version controls of all documentation.
• Keep training content current with licences and subject matter updates.
