Job summary

Selleys, part of DuluxGroup, is seeking a results-driven Trade Sales professional for Perth to grow our customer base and wallet share across industrial, glazing and construction projects.

You will partner with Trade Distributors, leverage your sales and technical knowledge of silicones, sealants and adhesives, and drive specifications to secure profitable revenue. Travel across the state is expected.

Qualifications

• Trade related sales experience with proven track record of exceeding sales goals
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with broader teams
• Support technical teams field trials and product testing activities
• Technical knowledge of silicones, sealants, and adhesives (advantageous)
• Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills and exposure to using sales CRMs
• Willingness to travel across the state, as required

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth of the Perth customer base via Selleys Trade Sales strategy and uncover opportunities within existing and new customers.
• Grow percentage share of wallet of Selleys/Admil products by building strong distributor relationships.
• Follow specifications to keep products specified and identify switching opportunities in the market.
• Provide expert technical advice and product support to customers and field teams.
• Operate with autonomy while collaborating with the broader sales team to achieve targets.
