Job summary

Factory is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to ensure customers maximize value from our developer-centric platform. This role sits in Melbourne (Hybrid) and will partner with leadership and engineering teams to resolve architecture, performance and operational challenges while helping scale the product.

You will help shape tools and processes that drive customer success and product improvements. The candidate should have 2+ years of experience with industrial automation or software

Qualifications

• Programming: Python, Go, Java, C++, or JavaScript/Node.js.
• Experience administering large-scale production environments with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• CCNA or equivalent industrial networking certification.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with customer-focused approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex customer challenges across architecture, performance, recovery and security.
• Advocate for customers with product management and engineering teams.
• Develop tools and diagnostics for performance benchmarking, diagnostics and automation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design scalable processes and dashboards.
