EML Group invites applications for a Technical Specialist to join our purpose-driven team in Melbourne or Geelong on a permanent, part-time basis. You will provide technical guidance to claims teams and contribute to ongoing improvements in claims management, with emphasis on compliance and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong technical experience within the Victorian workers compensation scheme is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a technical specialist or similar role in workers compensation claims is preferred
• Experience in managing relationships and competing stakeholder priorities
• Superior time management and negotiating skills
• Exceptional problem solving and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in coaching and supporting others

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support to claims teams per Victorian workers compensation law.
• Help claims teams meet performance targets.
• Review practices to identify trends and improve procedures.
• Develop strategic initiatives to meet service, performance and compliance targets.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support legal, governance and WorkSafe Victoria compliance.
