Powerplants Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Service Coordinator to centralise the service team, coordinate jobs from enquiry to completion and keep customers informed with timely updates. You’ll support technicians and drive efficient service workflows.

Ideal candidates will understand parts, equipment, and service costs, and have experience in technical environments. This is a full-time, office-based role in Melbourne with working rights in Australia.

Competenze

• The ability to understand parts, components, equipment and products and how they relate to a service job.
• Experience in a technical environment such as construction, horticulture, electrical or HVAC.
• Experience managing multiple jobs and coordinating people to keep work moving.
• Understanding job costs, parts, purchase orders, supplier processes and invoicing.
• Professional communication with customers, technicians and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to review service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Ownership mindset and proactive follow-through without prompts.

• Coordinate service jobs from enquiry to completion and ensure actions are followed up.
• Monitor open service jobs and proactively follow up information.
• Assist with technician scheduling and field staff coordination.
• Coordinate parts, supplier inquiries, subcontractors and other needs.
• Support after-hours technical roster and escalated service matters.
• Create and maintain accurate service records, reports and notes.
• Review completed jobs for completeness before invoicing.
• Act as a primary contact for customers and provide updates on service attendance and delays.
• Provide guidance to the Office Administrator and improve processes.
