Job summary
Boral Cement in Melbourne seeks a Technical Sales Manager to coordinate product development, innovation and market application activities for Victorian Cement products. You will ensure designs meet customer and market specifications and cost targets, while supporting customers with technical and quality guidance.
Travel will be regular, and a $21,250 motor vehicle allowance is provided. You will liaise with Sales and Account Managers, monitor product quality with labs and production, and
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Science, Sales or Engineering.
- Strong understanding of concrete technology, mix design and product quality investigations.
- Experience in technical/chemical manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with construction materials, mining and manufacturing industries.
- Commercial acumen with strong influencing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with technical support and guidance on product range, mix designs and remedial actions.
- Support sales with technical expertise, product and process design guidance to sales and account teams.
- Monitor product quality and coordinate with laboratories and production to meet high standards.
- Represent Boral Cement on industry bodies and engage with standards authorities.
- Strengthen brand equity through regular contact with key customer executives.
- Collaborate with the business to optimise cementitious setting changes across networks.
