Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in New South Wales seeks a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth for commercial hot water and pool heating solutions. Based at our Rydalmere office, you will engage customers, consultants, contractors and distributors across NSW and ACT, delivering technical support and project guidance.

You’ll nurture existing relationships, identify new opportunities, present design and application advice, and train distributors and engineers.

Qualifications

• Technical field experience or a trade background.
• Experience in a Technical Sales role within the Plumbing, HVAC or swimming pool industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills on both commercial and technical matters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• NSW Drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support relationships with existing distributors
• Achieve growth in the distribution network by identifying and cultivating new opportunities
• Work with Key Account customers as primary contact
• Design and execute communication strategies for positive market positioning
• Engage in discussions with decision-makers and specifications on sales, contractual, technical, and application levels
• Provide high-quality written and verbal presentations of project proposals and product solutions
• Track all sales-related contacts, leads, and referrals using CRM software
• Contribute to the state commercial sales plan, through marketing propositions.
• Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and market feedback
• Offer timely and accurate design and application advice to customers
• Train trade distributors, industry suppliers, and consultants in Rheem products
• Exhibit products at trade exhibitions to maintain a high brand profile
• Present to consulting engineers and plumbing contractors on new technology or product updates
