Job summary

Rheem Australia in Melbourne is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to service our heat pump, solar, electric and gas products for commercial hot water and pool heating. Based in Moorabbin, you will manage existing distributor relationships while developing new accounts and acting as the primary sales contact.

You will design effective communication strategies to position Rheem products in the market, track contacts in CRM, and contribute to the Marketing Plan.

Qualifications

• Technical field experience or trade qualification is required.
• Experience in a Technical Sales role within Plumbing/HVAC or swimming pool industries.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for commercial and technical matters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• VIC Drivers licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support relationships with existing distributors.
• Grow the distribution network by identifying and cultivating new accounts.
• Act as the key direct sales contact for targeted accounts.
• Design and execute communication strategies for positive market positioning.
• Conduct direct representation via call plans to achieve targets.
• Engage with decision-makers on sales, contractual, technical and application levels.
• Provide high-quality presentations of project characteristics and solutions.
• Track sales-related contacts, leads, and referrals in CRM.

The role

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will focus on servicing oursales base for heat pump, solar, electric and gas products incommercial hot water and pool heating. Based in our Moorabbinoffice, your role involves maintaining and supporting relationshipswith existing distributors while identifying and cultivating newaccounts across VIC. You will be the key direct sales contact,responsible for designing and executing effective communicationstrategies to positively position Rheem products in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support relationships with existingdistributors
• Achieve growth in the distribution network by identifyingand cultivating new accounts
• Act as the key direct sales contact for targetedaccounts
• Design and execute communication strategies for positivemarket positioning
• Conduct direct representation via agreed call plans toindividual targets
• Engage in discussions with decision-makers and specifierson sales, contractual, technical, and application levels
• Provide high-quality written and verbal presentations ofproject characteristics and product solutions
• Track all sales-related contacts, leads, and referralsusing CRM software
• Contribute to the Marketing Plan, particularly theDistribution Plan
• Provide market intelligence on competitor activity,pricing, and market feedback
• Offer timely and accurate design and application advice tocustomers
• Train trade distributors, industry suppliers, andconsultants in Rheem products
• Exhibit products at trade exhibitions to maintain a highbrand profile

About you

To be successful in this role you will have;

• Technical field experience or a trade qualification.
• Experience in a Technical Sales role within the Plumbing,HVAC or swimming pool industry
