Job summary

Bullivants Pty Ltd. Mackay branch is seeking a technically minded and reliable Customer Service Officer to support internal clients from our Mackay location.

You will interpret customer requirements, recommend parts and products, and help customers keep operations running safely and efficiently. You will build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, navigate catalogs and drawings to provide accurate recommendations, and support sales growth with product knowledge and

Qualifications

• Experience as Parts Interpreter or in technical sales, customer service, or industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and catalogues.
• Strong customer service manner and commitment to a great customer experience.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a small, collaborative team.
• Exposure to ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Respond to product and service enquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Interpret customer requirements and identify suitable parts and solutions
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Navigate technical catalogues, drawings, and product information to ensure accurate recommendations
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and maintain customer/product records
• Advise customers on pricing, availability, lead times and alternatives
• Support sales growth through product knowledge and solution-based recommendations
• Ensure customer requests are actioned efficiently within agreed timeframes
