Job summary

Truckline in Mackay, part of the Bapcor Commercial Vehicle Group, is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for customers and identify the right parts solutions to keep vehicles on the road.

As a permanent full-time role, you will build strong customer relationships, process orders, prepare quotations and liaise with suppliers and branches to support trades, workshops and fleets across Australia.

Qualifications

• Previous Parts Interpreting experience.
• Automotive/truck industry knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Sound computer and administration skills.
• Current driver's licence and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and identify customer parts requirements.
• Provide outstanding service to trade, workshop and fleet customers.

Job Description

As a Parts Interpreter, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and identifying the right parts solutions to keep vehicles on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and identify customer parts requirements
• Provide outstanding service to trade, workshop and fleet customers
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Liaise with suppliers, warehouse and branch teams
• Assist with stock enquiries and inventory availability
• Contribute to branch sales and customer service targets
• Ensure a positive customer experience with every interaction

Qualifications

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous Parts Interpreting experience
• Automotive, truck, commercial vehicle or related industry knowledge
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Sound computer and administration skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Current driver's licence
• Mechanical aptitude or passion for vehicles
