Job summary

CSIRO is seeking a Technical Analyst for the Sparked Australian FHIR Accelerator in Brisbane. You will support digital health infrastructure, tools, testing environments and implementation guides to enable consistent health information exchange.

You’ll join a small, dispersed technical team delivering frontline support, testing, issue resolution and lightweight automation while learning HL7 FHIR and related standards.

Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, health informatics or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience in technical analysis, testing, technical support or software development, with evidence-based conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to the Sparked community via Jira Service Management, GitHub and chat.fhir.org, triage and resolve issues.
• Maintain test data aligned with HL7 AU specifications through automation and documentation.
• Lead acceptance testing of Inferno test kit releases and document issues.
• Support QA and publication of implementation guides through validation and release checks.
• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation for Sparked tools and services.
• Provide routine operational support, including health checks, monitoring and uptime reporting.
