Job summary

DFNCE, a Melbourne-based provider of resilient IT operations and cybersecurity solutions, seeks a Junior Business Development Representative to build our pipeline. You will engage IT and business leaders, secure qualified meetings, and collaborate with the sales team under full training.

The role offers a structured growth path and the potential for rapid progression into management. You’ll start with a base salary of $60,000 to $65,000 plus super and uncapped commission, with Melbourne office

Qualifications

Experience in a sales, telesales or target-driven role.
Confident speaking on the phone with senior stakeholders.
Resilient with a positive attitude to rejection.
Willingness to be coached and learn quickly.
Genuine interest in technology and cybersecurity; technical background not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver daily outbound activity to meet calls, conversations and meetings booked targets.
Research target organisations, build account lists in Salesforce and manage prospects.
Run multi-channel outreach across phone, email and LinkedIn.
Qualify opportunities based on business need, authority and timing.
