Job summary

Mecwacare is seeking a hands‑on Coordinator to oversee the Ballarat office operations for Home Care Services. You will lead the coordination team, recruit and support staff, investigate incidents and feedback, and turn insights into practical improvements that strengthen service delivery and staff utilisation.

You will drive continuous improvement, build strong stakeholder relationships, and use MS Office tools and Carelink+ to support operations, reporting to the Centre Manager, South West

Qualifications

• Advanced rostering capability including block rostering and rostering in advance.
• A strong customer service mindset and the ability to resolve issues constructively.
• High-level problem‑solving, investigation and analytical skills.
• A track record of improving team performance through continuous improvement.
• The ability to identify and support workforce development opportunities.
• Initiative, attention to detail and personal accountability.
• The ability to build trusted professional relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience conducting investigations and preparing reports.
• Confidence using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Previous experience with Carelink+.

Job description

At mecwa care, you will lead the coordination team that helps Home Care Services at our Ballarat office run smoothly and ensures clients receive reliable, responsive support. Reporting to the Centre Manager, South West Region, you will be trusted to guide people, solve problems and improve the way services are delivered across the region.

This is a hands‑on opportunity to oversee office operations, staff recruitment, support and coordination; conduct initial investigations into incidents, feedback and complaints; and turn insights into practical improvements that strengthen service delivery, staff utilisation and retention.
