LexisNexis is seeking a Business Development Associate (Team Lead) in Sydney (Hybrid) to drive personal sales while coaching a growing team of Associates targeting a substantial untapped market of law firms. You will be a hands-on seller and a mentor, shaping performance and growth across the team.

As a true player-coach, you will influence capability uplift, quality, and engagement, using AI tools and digital tech to boost productivity and engagement in a high-activity environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outbound sales, tele sales, or SDR environments.
• Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Natural coaching ability, with a passion for mentoring and lifting team performance.
• Proactive approach to self-development, with an interest in AI and modern sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and exceed personal sales and activity targets through consistent outbound prospecting.
• Support the wider team to achieve collective revenue outcomes and performance targets.
• Lead by example in high-volume, phone-led outbound sales.
• Qualify, progress, and create high-quality opportunities for the Business Development team.
• Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and real-time support to team members to improve performance and skill development.
• Manage inbound leads and execute structured outreach campaigns across defined territories.
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring strong pipeline visibility and data integrity.
• Provide feedback on customer trends, market insights, and product opportunities.
• Leverage AI tools and digital technologies to enhance productivity, coaching, and customer engagement.
