Job summary

Hugo Personnel Pty in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a values-driven not-for-profit delivering disability, aged care and retirement living services. You will own end-to-end recruitment for a dedicated healthcare portfolio and partner with hiring managers to build strong pipelines.

You will source through multiple channels, conduct checks, prepare contracts, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Internal Talent Acquisition experience in healthcare or not-for-profit is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence hiring decisions.
• Experience using ATS and recruitment platforms.
• Ability to build talent pipelines and deliver market insights.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a highly regarded, values driven not-for-profit organisation delivering services across disability, aged care and retirement living. The Role

Reporting to the GM of Talent Acquisition, you'll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment across a dedicated healthcare portfolio. You'll partner closely with hiring managers, build talent pipelines, and provide market insights that support informed hiring decisions.

Your duties will also include:

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate screening, and interviewing
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, providing market insight and recruitment advice to influence hiring outcomes
• Conduct reference checks, compliance screening, and pre-employment checks
• Prepare contracts, offer letters, and onboarding paperwork to ensure a seamless candidate experience
• Proactively source and engage talent through multiple channels, including recruitment platforms, databases, networking, and headhunting
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support your portfolioDeliver a positive and seamless candidate experience that reflects the organisation's culture
• Optimise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technology to improve recruitment outcomes and reporting

What do you need to succeed?

• Proven experience in an internal Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Advisor or Recruitment Partner role
• Experience recruiting within the NFP, healthcare or disability sectors is highly regarded, but not essential
• Strong strategic capability, with the ability to identify and engage talent across multiple channels in competitive candidate markets
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
