Job summary

Balance Recruitment is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in Sydney to support the deployment and go-live of the Compass Student Management System. This fixed-term contract (~2 months) offers a pivotal role in a school environment, enabling smooth implementation and post go-live operations.

You will provide hands-on technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, monitor integrations, and engage with staff, ICT teams, vendors, and project members to maintain system performance and user

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in Systems Administration, Engineering or Application Support.
• Experience with Compass Student Management System or similar SaaS enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting go-live activities and post-go-live stabilization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and go-live of the Compass Student Management System.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance, troubleshooting and operational support.
• Liaise with school staff, ICT teams, project members and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Deliver informal staff training and guidance during the transition.
